Good childhood memories
I started playing Fate when it came free on my father's dell laptop almost twenty years ago now. It has all the elements of Diablo without the gratuitous violence that is a turn off to many concerned parents. There are countless ways to play the games that are all immensely satisfying. The storylines are well written and enjoyable with the sequels to the original referencing actions that you as the hero had done in the previous game. Each separate race has a number of boons that they start with that add a lot of replayability potential. Orcs are more suited to being brawlers wielding massive weapons for massive damage. Elves shine with their higher starting speed and archery expertise. Humans find their niche in the extremely fun magic system. Any race can perform any role but each one begins with a nudge in a particular direction to make it possible for you to simply pick up and play without having to worry about not being able to make an impact against enemies.
