DISTRAINT 2 is a 2D psychological horror adventure game.
You are Price, a man who sold his humanity to get a partnership from a leading company: McDade, Bruton & Moore.
DISTRAINT 2 follows on from the events of the first game. It's a sinister tale about restoring hope and finding your purpose.

This game keeps on the line of its predecessor, having a great psychological horror narrative driven by some puzzles, if you like the first one, this one sure won't let you down, and i can't tell anything elso to avoid the risk of spoiling anything.
This is the second part that complete the story of the first game. I love it. The music is great, especially the piano.
On this game you will start where the first one ended. You will know more about the character, his story, and his life. I didn't expect that. You will face little puzzles, not to hard, not to easy, just well done and doesn't push out of the story and the game.
If you liked the first episode, i recommend it.
3.5/5 stars
Distraint 1 was a fun adventure game with a creative graphic style. Its unusual ending might’ve left you cold, but it turns out there’s a sequel that continues the plot.
While the graphics and gameplay are like the prequel, Distraint 2 is quite different in other regards—an abstract drama, a psychodrama, in fact, instead of a horror game with a traditional plot. (I actually like how the sequel drops the prequel’s graphic violence.)
Older gamers may appreciate the intellectual themes. Even though the game draws on psychotherapy principles you find in hackneyed Hollywood dramas, Distraint 2’s approach is original and thoughtful enough to go along for the ride.
The game is rather short, almost DLC size, and a little too focused on the basics. I would’ve liked more exploration and characters. The crooked card player was my favorite, and his fate is a hoot!
I’m afraid I had to drop 1 & a half stars because of a poor design choice. (I almost dropped another half star for the sliding tile puzzle.) The game’s font size is linked to your Windows setting for font scaling, which I’ve never seen a game do before. I usually keep my Windows fonts scaled up for easy reading, but this made Distraint 2’s fonts too big for the screen. I had to reduce scaling in Windows to 100%, which also reset all my custom font sizes, a major nuisance.
I love this developer, and he's done something amazing here.
This game is dark, it's harsh, it's depressing, but actually less so than the first. But if anything, it's far more psychedelic than its predecessor. And after all the darkness, it still managed to touch me with a gentler tone.
The graphics have improved, the art is better, backgrounds are more detailed, dialogue feels more flushed out. I am thoroughly impressed and enjoyed every minute of this game. I highly recommend it.
Damn, what a great experience these two games were! This part, the sequel of the equally great first game, finally concludes the story, and in concludes it fantastically!
The game(s) can easily be finished in 2 to 3 hours, what is the perfect length for this type of game. The puzzles are not very difficult, and that is fine because what makes this game a little masterpiece is the way the story is told.
Fantastic job of the developer, I'll keep a close eye on his future projects! German translation is very well done, too!
By the way, if the font seems to big, that is a known problem that can easily be fixed. Just check the forum, a solution was posted there by some kind person (not me) :)
