too many rules to keep track of
In full disclosure I refunded the game, as I did not enjoy it as much as I expected to. It's a very chill and relaxing game, that looks great and has a very nice atmosphere. In this Imperial package you also get quite a lot of content. The issue for me is that it has too many rules to try and keep track of, and I thought the AI was a bit too strong in the game. It's difficult to strategize when you don't really understand all the rules or mechanics that are going on, when you can't grasp the overall picture. Perhaps the problem is that the game gives you too many strategic options, and that too many of them has to be done in the correct or most optimal way. My experience with the game can be summarized as fumbling around in the dark. If you already know how to play Concordia or have more experience with complex boardgames than I have, this could be a fun game for you. However if you are looking for a digital boardgame that is relatively easy to grasp and learn, I wouldn't recommend it unless you know someone who can teach you how to play the game properly. A 2/5 score is too low however, since I think this is more of a mismatch between myself and the game, rather than it being a bad game per se. So a 3/5 is more fitting.
