Chill game
I completed the game in about 9 and a half hours. You have laid out cards (various layouts) and a deck of cards you draw from. The first card next to the draw pile is the starting card. You can put a laid out card on it, that is one higher or lower than it and the same for the card you just put down on the stacking pile. The order goes from 2 to 10, J, Q, K, A and then 2 again. Throughout the game game elements get added like bows around cards (= you have to collect it twice for it to clear the space) and jokers and wild cards and you can buy (with the gold you collected while clearing the boards) objects to help with certain aspects of board clearing and probabilities of getting jokers/wild cards. The chapters have objectives to complete, like achieving a combo of x cards. Combo means ongoing string of cards collected. The game is chill, but you occasionally need to use your jokers and wild cards strategically to achieve the required combo. Although I had it happen, that I used quite a few of those cards (for higher combos) and then achieved the required combo in that chapter another time naturally by getting lucky with the cards. The story is good, although I already suspected how it would go. It is skippable. I like the art and the music fits the theme. The only negative I have, if I want to play in windowed mode, the window is rather small and can’t be changed. But for me, that is negligible. If you like solitaire, you will probably enjoy this. If you like this game and want to try something with a twist = "fights" alongside the cardplay (with equipping weapons and stuff and occasionally throwing rats and other stuff at opponents or getting thrown at you) you might want to try Shadowhand (also by Grey Alien Games).
