It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Since there doesn't seem to be a convenient post on this topic, note that the only implementation of the video codec used in Arges is insecure and disabled by default on Windows 10, however it is installed and there is an easy way to enabled it while playing. The game will seem to work for a bit without it enabled but it will later crash.

In PowerShell as Admin type:
cd c:\windows\syswow64
regsvr32 ir50_32.dll
You should see an animation of Pokkle getting slammed by a door when starting the game if it works. To unload when you are done type:
regsvr32 /u ir50_32.dll
That will give an error message but I think it works anyway.

Someone could make a script to do this automatically when launching the game, but doing it manually works for me. Of course, there is a reason they disabled it and enabling it could cause trouble, although just enabling it when playing is hopefully less likely to cause trouble than keeping it enabled all the time.
