Hi all,
I have fond memories of this game and was never able to finish it so I thought I give it a try again now. My problem is a game crash (the game just closes completely) every time I open particular files in the file cabinet in City Hall. (Two that do it every time are Feebo's Folly in drawer 1, and Long Life Spell in drawer 2.)

Now the strange part is, I was playing along for a while (got into East Shanbar) and had already read every single one of the files. I restarted the game and the second time through I get the crash consistently. I think I have it narrowed down to a crash for each file folder that will add a journal item to the journal that Peepers gives me.

Sound familiar to anyone? Any ideas?

Edit: Update. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, deleting all saves. The same issue happened again in the new installation. Weird.
