unfortunately it did not work for me. My problem is that the urchin collectors never return from the sea. So I tried out both settings 1.0 and 2.0 but nothing helped.

Does anyone have any piece of advice for me?

For anyone still having trouble with building animations after applying the patch, like people jumping on the olive press, marble workers hammering blocks out stone, etc. Animations in this game seem to stop if your computer has been on and running for more than 24 hours. Restart the computer (not sleep, not hibernate, shut down and turn on or restart) each time you play to get the animations going again.
