You can try installing the patch to your GOG copy - after all, GOG doesn't have DRM on the games, so it should work fine.

Huh. Turns out that the GOG version is different the other versions of the game, including the data.zip and script dll. Weird. Anyways, the patch can't be manually installed or extracted into the GOG Zafehouse, so I guess we have to sit tight for a bit.
