I'm wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong in my attempt to install the Long War mod.

I'm trying to install it to XCOM Enemy Within/XEW/Binaries/Win32, and checked to make sure that XcomEW.exe is there.

When I try to install Long War there, however, it doesn't seem to recognize that the executable is there, and thus won't install properly.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be here?

The installer's default path gives a clue: \XCOM Enemy Unknown\XEW.

Thought I'd tried that one and got the same problem, but I'll give it another shot.

Nope. Same error; acts like the EW executeable can't be found though I'm looking at it right in the directory.
Spoke too soon, went down one level too far.

Mine won't install either. I've tried everything and no matter what I do the installer continues to fail to patch half the promised functions. Fatigue doesn't work right, I cant get early psionics, the -entire- class system refuses to update at all, half the second raid functions don't work. I've tried verifying, hard re-installing from the OS level, re-installing the mod several times, deleting all base game config files, nothing works. It simply will not read the file properly. According to the install logs it can't find the Hex line it's suppose to edit, and then give up and aborts finishing the changes.
