but just wanted to check this version of x4 foundations has the 3.0 lever to move the world update?

Yes, the game has been kept up to date here on GOG.com. The offline installers are sometimes arriving a few days later but they are all here at the moment. Version 3.30 right now. NO Mac version!!!

The changelog sticky wouuld have told you that too.
