Hi All,

I have updated the game to 1.1 patch, I'm using for now keyboard and mouse (I didn't have time yet to setup my joystick), I was chasing an enemy ship and I was firing at him with pulse laser at him - using the default middle mouse button. After a while my laser stopped working. I have Elite Vanguard (I just spent a few hours with the game so far) and I have upgraded the ship laser. I'm not in Travel Mode, or Scan/Long Scan mode. I may I have pressed something on the keyboard though I'm not sure what, for some reason when I try to fire the ship laser with my middle mouse button nothing happens....strange. Any idea ?

Hi there,

you can circle through your weapons by pressing 1 to 4.

If you have you weapon on hardpoint 1 und you pressed 2 at some point (maybe when you were trying to go to scan mode by pressing shift+2) you have an empty hardpoint selected and can't shoot.

That's it! That did the trick! Thanks a lot BigMag38 for your help! All I had to do was switch to my hardpoint 1 and I was back in business.

I was also having this issue suddenly. I think the patch changed something which moved the configs and so stopped the weapons firing cos I never changed anything.
