So I have a laptop with an NVIDIA GTX870 and a Windows tablet with an Intel i7-7500U with the standard Intel HD 620 graphics in it, and both devices seem to have constant frametime spikes during gameplay.

It's so noticable I can even see it as I simply turn my character left and right. I have a Razer mouse and the Fenek Swift mouse and both work great in countless games so it isn't a mouse or a mouse driver issue. Both seem to have this problem. During turning, it has a microstutter and suddenly my character has turned way too far. It does this almost all the time.

I tried turning vsync off and even on the Intel HD only system it has framerates in the hundreds, typically around 180-200 range. Vsync off seemed to make the frametime issue even worse. The microstutters lasted slightly longer and my character had turned even further away from where I meant them to.

Not sure what I can do about this. It's pretty frustrating, especially when what I am able to keep under control feels really awesome. Any help would be appreciated. I'll try using Rivatuner to adjust framerates next and see if that does anything.
Yeah Rivatuner didn't help. :P
It's very stuttery and frames are offf for me as well, and I'm on 2060 super i7 8700k

So don't worry, it's not just you.

Even worse, went to load up the game today and now it seems to be capped at 50fps and won't go any higher.
Have you guys tried disabling vsync in-game and enabling it through the NVIDIA control panel? I also turned on triple buffering, threaded optimization and multi-frame sampled AA (MFAA), which seemed to help with performance.

Well I can adjust settings on my laptop with the NVIDIA Control Panel but that doesn't help with my tablet which doesn't have an NVIDIA card. It only uses an Intel i7 in it.

The performance just doesn't seem to make sense though because the framerate per second is VERY high even on my tablet. Like I said, on my tablet with vsync off the framerate goes up to 200 FPS sometimes. Vsync locks it at 60FPS which is fine, but this issue still crops up.

I tried steadily panning my mouse left and right in a safe place in the game world and I don't get smooth scrolling. It will pretty much constantly have microstutters and pause for a brief moment and then my character has turned way too far around. The framerate is consistently high, but these frametime spikes make it so the game becomes unplayable. I can't reliably move and turn my character in a way that feels like I have him under control at all times and it gets super frustrating.
Well, I don't own a tablet so I have no idea how to setup the game for that. If you have a steam account, you can try starting a thread at the Wrath forums, since the devs have replied to some posts over there. Alternatively, you could join the 3DRealms discord to ask around (http://www.discord.gg/3drealms) or ask 3Drealms for help through their website (https://3drealms.com/contact/). KillPixel (game devs) have an official twitter account, so you can try your luck there as well (https://twitter.com/KillPixelGames).

So it's not just me. I have constant freezes in the game, even sound and everything stops for half a second any time I'm moving. It's basically unenjoyable. Tried all video settings and everything. Explained my issue to devs on Steam, they were nice and told me some options, but still no solution.

And I'm playing on a proper desktop PC and the earlier builds of the game worked fine.

Interesting. I came by to say that I'm playing on an 8 year-old non-gaming laptop, and while the game runs at a nice framerate it stutters constantly. It seems like graphics aren't the problem. Maybe AI scripts burning cycles or something? The game isn't quite playable for me.

This is with the latest version, 1.3.1.
