I get an error when I try starting the Gold version of Wizardry 7. After the intro parts play, and before it gets to the main menu, an error pops up "WIZARD.EXE has stopped working".

Then I have to close it. Any good hearted people know what might be causing it, or how to solve it? I attached a picture of the error.

I have Windows 7.

Use the DOS version. It's better.

Well it's always nice to be able to decide that for myself ;).

I'd still like to fix it so it works, regardless of what version I may end up playing. I guess I'll have to try fiddling with it.
