Here is something interesting I noticed:
From a fresh install of Wizardry 8, start a new game, then choose Add to Party 6 times. You will end up with a rather interesting party, including multiple classes that were bad or nonexistent in Wizardry 7.
Psionic
Samurai
Bishop
Fighter
Gadgeteer
Ninja
Doesn't that sound like an interesting party to have as a sort of "default"?
(Bishop and Fighter were pretty bad in Wizardry 7; Bishops had to alternate spell picks and only got Mage and Priest spells; Fighters had nothing to offer that Valkyries/Lords did, and they took double damage from most enemies due to a bug.)
(The sample party save, unfortunately, is a bit more ordinary.)
