Hello, fellow GOGers!
My name is Nick, AKA Nostalgick. I'm a gamer, writer, and musician, and Wizardry 8 has been my favorite game for a long time. I found it at the bottom of a shelf at a Best Buy for $20 way back in the early 2000s and still have those original CDs. And I own both the Steam version and the GOG version, of course. I love the game so much that I've been doing an Expert Difficulty Let's Play of it on my YouTube channel for a couple years now (my release schedule has been less than regular) and I think this is the year that I will finally finish it. To promote this special occasion, I wanted to reach out to the Wizardry community so I could gather more viewers, get a bigger following, and ultimately promote more discussion about this great game. Recently, I've been releasing new videos every week and streaming my progress on Twitch, and the whole project has been a ton of fun to produce. Generally, I take an academic approach to video games and try to discover what really makes them tick. I'm not afraid to have fun with my commentary though, and usually more surprises come with every new episode.
If any of this sounds like fun to you, you're just curious, OR you just want to troll me, you can catch all my content here:

I also play and stream a ton of other games, from HearthStone to DOTA 2 to Pillars of Eternity. I love talking about game design and narrative in games, and often the best part of running a YouTube channel is getting to interact with my viewers! So I really hope to see you on the channel or in Twitch, and if you do make it out to Dominus, know that the Dark Savant and I will be there to meet you. ;)
