Every time I try to start a new game with a new party it crashes when I confirm the aprty it only started doing this recently does anyone else have this problem or know a way to fix it?

Which particular game? Are you running it on something other than Windows? Are you using something like a 3rd party program like Cosmic Forge Editor?

im on windows 10 and im using the simple editor but i've had the editor for a while and it's only been doing this since the last amd driver update I can only start a new game if I do a full uninstall and backup my save files which is really annoying. Im guessing it's just becasue of the new drivers And this is for wizardry 8

Hmm, I have only played Wizardry 8 with no editor going into it.

Had the same problem, found an answer online. First run as administrator and in compatibility mode for windows 7. Also, go into the game directory for wizardry 8. Under DATA/INTRO/FLICKS delete all movie files. Make a backup of them fist to be safe. These are the cutscenes, removing them is a loss, but it did fix the problem.
