I tried to hex edit a save file, but then deleted it from the game directory after messing with it. Afterwards, I turned on the game and the save file was still in the game itself, but not in the game directory. I uninstalled the game and selected no to keeping my game saves. However after reinstalling, all my game saves were still there when I hit save/load in the game itself, but not in the main game folder. Where is Wing Commander Privateer keeping these save files in Windows 7? They are not in computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > GOG.com > Wing Commander Privateer. I tried making all files visible, but nothing came up. Please help.

When/If you run a game with UAC and without admin privileges Win7 will place such software in other location. AFAIK it's: [drive_letter]:\Users\[user-name]\AppData\LocalLow\... or [drive_letter]:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\... or something like this...
