I'm having issues with the Blackmane 2 escort mission.

I choose Cobra as my wing, we go through the first navs, dispatch the enemies, then move on to the next. Autopilot usually works if you go near the ships to get their Confed ID, but I find myself just drifting without autopilot, hence not being able to complete the mission.

Am I missing something?
