Hello folks,

So, I just got the original Privateer, a game from my childhood. I remember it fondly and was looking forwards to playing it again. However, I have a bit of an issue with the controller. Its, not smooth. Or not as smooth as I remember it. I cant get the crosshairs centred on a target properly most of the time as even the slightest touch jumps the reticule from one side of the target to the entire opposite side of the target, I cannot lead targets and in general, the game isn't really running very smooth out of the box.

Can anyone tell me if there are any tweaks that I need to do? Anything I can do to help the game run smoother for me?

Probably a calibration issue.
You can try the following:

Also set timed = false in the .conf of the game.
