When I start a mission my wingman immediately explodes (in the hangar). I can still complete these early missions by myself, but I feel kinda bad seeing Hobbes explode at the start of every mission.

Does anyone else experience this and is there a fix/workaround?

Running the game on Windows 10 (dosbox) using the gog galaxy client to launch the game.

Likely a timing issue with DOSBox using max cycles.

I found 150000 cycles to work well on my machine.
