Hello. I've searched this entire forum and can't find an answer to this problem. I'm on the last mission in WC3 (at least I think it's the last mission). I have the cloaking device and the bomb to blow up Kilrah with. On the last leg of the mission, Kilrah is in sight but enemy fighters keep coming and coming. It doesn't matter how many I blast, more just keep appearing. I tried cloaking and flying straight for the planet, but Kilrah never got any closer. I flew past the waypoint several times. That didn't do anything either. I flew this mission ten times trying different things, but nothing changes. Just more and more Kilrathi fighters appear and the mission never progresses past that. Am I missing something? Any tips? Anyone else have this problem??? Please help!
I find the best way is that once you have the cloacking devive , use it as soon as you launch, auto when possible and order your wingman to atack. Every now and then you will have to fly stiaght for a time as you pass kilrathi ships but eventualy you can auto again.

When you reach kilrah it's self all yu need to do is take out Hobbes ( if you did'nt do so before) and then Price Thrackath, once both are gone you automaticaly go to the surface of the planet, you then need to recloack and lfly straight to te target sight, lol just whach your hight meter and don't get to low. When you reach the target select thr Tembler and lock-on THEN decloak and fire.

After that just sit back and watch the fireworks.

If you try this and still have problems then you may have a bug.

Thank you very much Jolob. I'll try it as soon as I can and let you know. One thing though: during my previous attempts (mentioned above), once I de-cloaked I could never get the cloaking device to work again. But I'll try what you said and report back ;) Thanks again.

You need to activate the cloak right before you travel to the last nav point. If you don't, the Kilrathi will know you're coming and will send overwhelming numbers against you. If you approach the last nav point cloaked, their numbers will be much smaller. Make good use of the cloak in that fight, because you won't able to cloak again once you've deactivated the cloaking device.
Thanks to you both. With your help I was able to finally end the game. I learned a few things though: You can use the cloaking device exactly twice before it becomes useless; once at Kilrah you have to fly a looooong way to get to the target fault line, there is no 'auto' feature at that point; and there will always be two Kilrathi fighters after you if you're not cloaked. Also, I never did confront Thrackath during this mission. And I'd taken care of Hobbes earlier in the game, so of course he wasn't there either.

Thanks again guys. Now off to WC4 ;)

Yeah if you're cloaked I think you can go right past the prince. Also, it is possible to kill him before the last mission when he tries to draw you away from The Victory before it jumps. It requires some luck though. You have to take him out nearly instantly and haul ass back to the carrier.
In my experience, the final mission of WC3 has always been buggy. The game throws as much as it can at you, so you're expected to tell wingman to 'Break and Attack', which of course, leads them to get killed (it's just how the mission is supposed to go) however, if you're like myself, you're pretty good at the game, and just wipe out anything the game throws at you without much hassle. The caveat is that your wingman DOESN'T DIE, so the game keeps pouring out wave after wave of Kilrathi ships to hunt you down. If you find that that wave after wave of Kilrathi keep coming and coming, just send your wingman back to base, regardless of what condition their ship is in, he (or she if you picked Flint, and why wouldn't you, she's f*****g gorgeous!), they will always say something like "maybe you're into suicide, Colonel, but I'm heading back to base!". It's kinda amusing, but yeah.

Also, as soon as you enter Kilrah, equip your cloak (CTRL+C). If you don't you will face wave after wave after wave of Kilrathi and you basically can't win, even if you're playing on Rookie difficulty, you'll still get torn apart. Anyway, that's my strategy for the last mission. Also, you CAN'T fire your weapon when in cloak mode, so remember to de-cloak by pressing CTRL+C again.
