Hello, I'd like to ask if it's possible to hex-edit particular files in WC1 to make gameplay more comfortable? I mean to improve actual gameplay features like sheld power, gun recharge speed etc. It would help a lot.

There's a utility for this:

This is a very old program by the way - it was written when Wing Commander was new, so you have to run it through DOSBOX just like the game.
