Hello, I was originally having a problem with the cursor drifting in the game in DOSBox and someone told me to turn the timed seetting to false, which stopped the drifting of my mouse cursor. But now I can't seem to use the joystick at all to turn my ship. Can anyone help? (I found where to recalibrate but yeah)

Sounds like the Joystick isn't set in the game. Try pressing "Alt + O" during the game for the options menu and click "Joystick" for controls.
