Speaking about old games like the Wing Commander series .... in your opinion is better to play them Windowed or Full screen?

I'd say full screen, personally.

playing games like wing commander for me is better windowed, because i have an eyefinity setup and 2 of my 3 screens are just black.

I prefer windowed.

I prefer the pixel of the game to equal a pixel of the screen (is this technology-cally correct? since you can set you main resolution to all kind of resolution?).

I don't like any scaler or anything. I don't really know, I just don't.

Maybe because my LCD screen is not 3:4, but instead wide screen. I don't know. I tried Alt+Enter on all kind of games, and I prefer it to be windowed.

For games using DOSBox you can also adjust the DOSBox settings to have the game run fullscreen but with the output only taking up a certain amount of the screen, with everything else filled with black. This is a great option if you want a smaller output but find your desktop etc. distracting in windowed mode.

To accomplish this set the DOSBox resolution to the desktop resolution and use an output method that doesn't fit to any chosen resolution. The game will then only be as big as the chosen scaler (normal2x or whatever).

I like playing the WC games in large windows. Some other games I prefer full screen.
