I just bought WC 1+II.
Looks fine except my Joystick does not work at all.
I have a Saitek X55 Rhino, and running Windows 10 x64.
Here what I tried so far:
Disconnected Throttle
Tried every setting in dosboxWC.conf: Auto, 2axis, 4axis, 4axis_2, fcs
I can not move the arrow in menus, nor does the ship or hand move when flying.
The joystick is working in modern games. I haven't tried any other dosbox games, since I don't have any.

Any help is appreciated.

Ok, now that I have posted this, I found out how it works.
I had to go to the devices screen in windows, right click joystick, Gamecontrollersettings, Extended, use this joystick for older games.
By doing so, the 'auto' setting in the conf file works as expected.

I can't seem to get my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro working correctly. It works in DOSBox with X-Wing, but with Wing Commander it only seems to work smoothly when on the main Start/Continue menu. Once I get into the bar and the arcade machine, it's all choppy.

Edit: Hmm, this appears to be an issue with the DOSBox SVN Daum build. 0.74 seems fine.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I'm trying to get my X55 to work with WC1 but it is not recognised
this is my joystick config in DosboxWC.conf:

I also went into the devices screen and selected my Rhino stick to work with older games but still nothing :(

Running Win10 x64 and my stick works in E:D and SC

I hope that someone can help me as it is not easy to play with mouse

I have to disconnect my throttle to get it working.
Even with the stick selected as described above DosBox uses the trottle as Joystick.

I found out indeed that when the throttle is connected it is selected by dosbox
but when I only connect the stick I can't even press "J" on the start screen to calibrate the joystick (can do it when the throttle is connected)
I just uninstalled everything from Saitek and installed the latest drivers from their website but still not detected :(
Normally my stick is connected to a powered hub so tried to connect it directly to the pc on a USB3 and a USB2 port but still didn't work
Hope someone can give me some other things to test
