Okay so I finished all my stuff with Exploratory Services, I got the alien gun and the alien pod is chasing me. Everywhere. I can't destroy it cause its damn hard to hit. Missiles seem unable to hit it and whenever I've landed even a few hits, it did nothing to damage it. Obviously auto piloting around is impossible with that thing on my tail 24/7.

What is it that I'm supposed to do now?

Yes. I was worry too when I played first time. Just find Mining Base (probably anyone fits scenario; try Nexus if you're close to it) and check bar for some beauty in navy uniform (Captain Goodin). She will arrange meeting with Admiral Terrell at Perry Naval Base.

But now that I've destroyed the drone and the Steltek took away the derelict base, I'm again at a loss as to where to go next. Help?!

Get more credits! If GOG comes out with Righteous Fire, you should be in a very good position to upgrade your ship. :D

Don't forget about money and medal from Admiral Terrell... ;)
After you'll talk to Admiral you can play as long as you want ("open ending") but like above was written campaign is over.

If you don't have old CD with "Righteous Fire" then you must wait for GOG's move.

I actually followed the instructions on another thread but thats great that there's a wiki about it. I'm playing RF right now and loving it! So much more gadgets to save up for :D
