Hello,

I'm new to GOG, and I'm hoping someone can help with some setup before I rage quit and never come back.

I'm attempting to play Wing Commander 1 and 2, loved these games years ago, and was really looking forward to playing them again, however I can't get a control pad working for the life of me.

I'm attempting to use a Playstation 2 controller plugged into a USB adapter as a joystick for the game. Is there some sort of settings menu in the game to enable a joystick or is this something I have to do from Windows? In Windows I have calibrated my controller and its working. DOS Box also states that it is recognizing a controller when launched, however the game only responds to keyboard and mouse commands. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Well, I think I might be set up as well as I can be. I've managed to fix it by using the DOS Box key mapper to set keyboard functions to the control pad. Wasn't having any luck getting Wing Commander to recognize the controller on its own through using CTRL+J. It seems to work ok so far...
