Hi all,

I just bought and installed WC3, but can't get it to run in full screen mode. I get a smal screen but can't adjust it (see attachement ). Anyone know what I can do about it? I've tried the Graphic mode setup file, but there I get a mention that my game isn't installed.

thanks for the help.

Alt+Enter is your answer but you will have to do it each time you start the game. If you want a more permanent solution, open up the dosboxWC3.conf file in the WC3 install directory, you can change the fullscreen=false setting to fullscreen=true to do it automatically each time you start the game.

Thanks for the alt+enter. Since I have the same problem, I'll give that a try. As far as editing the config files, I can edit them just fine, but when I go to save them, it says I don't have permission. I have given myself admin permissions. Do I still need to be logged in as admin?

Thanks for any help I can get.
p.s. I am trying to edit the config files because I have not been able to use my Wingman Extreme Joystick at all.

Windows can be a bit overprotective about editing files in the C:\program files directory, even with admin access. An easy workaround would be to move the config file to the desktop, right click on the config file, go into properties and disable read only. Edit and save the config file, then copy the file back to the games directory.

I'd advise when installing new gog games in the future that you use a different default directory like C:\gog\(name of game goes here) as it will help circumvent windows getting a bug up its butt about permissions.

Hope that helps you get it working. :)
