Trying to get Wing Commander 4 to work on my Windows 7 x64 machine - I own the PSX version and want to check out the pc version for the different missions. I've tried running in compatability mode/run as administrator, but in the instances where compatability mode allows the game to run at all (Win95 and Win98 modes), The game crashes about 15sec after the first dialogue choice (help him out/straighten him out) whether I watch the first part where Tolwyn addresses the assembly or not.

Anyone know how to get it running on Windows 7?

Download the latest version of DOSBox, that might fix it.

I have Windows 7 64 bit and WC4 works for me.

I actually had an older version of the game. Uninstalled that one, re-downloaded from GOG and it works just fine. Thanks for your reply though!
