holy cow the updates are just rollin' out aren't they? Very nice indeed.
Cool, I had a long play session last week and the recipe stuff was annoying, I'm glad it has been patched.

Now, if there was a possibility in al later patch to diminish the spawn rates of enemies in temples (via an easy mode or a slider), that would be great for people like me who prefer to explore the world rather than endlessly fighting again and again.

This game is really getting closer to its full potential :)

Thought I'd chime in here in support of this idea for the exact opposite reason.

The past patches decreased ship encounter rate and turret spawn. I appreciated the lower ship spawn, since having a free minute to loot the ship you just cleared was nice. But I liked the crowded turrets of earlier versions. They weren't hard to deal with since the jackhammer pretty much lets you pick your own entry point, but made me treat each room as a tactical exercise rather than just depend on charging through while spamming whale-loaf. The temple enemies, I'd keep the same, since they fairly easy to deal with as long as you see them coming and have adequate equipment...much like Contra.

Having configurable spawn rates for enemies types in different settings would let everyone play the sort game that is to their tastes.

That's why I asked for a a kind of "slider" option ;)

In fact, my first temple was one which wasn't meant for early game so I tried exploring another one and it was much easier, I guess I would have to make and use plenty of grenades to storm in the harder temples :o)
