Hi folks

Since mid 2015, we have been writing a weekly journal detailing the progress of development on We Happy Few. The purpose of these is to show you guys what we're up to, seek feedback, and give general updates about development. It's pretty neat to go back in time to check out the progress in the game since 2015.

We don't have as much control over here as we do on our own forums, but I'd like to start posting links to our weekly development journals here. I'll start by just posting in this thread, and we can see how we go.

So, first up! This week we've finished with creating content for the next update, and we're moving on to bug fixing! Content creation is the fun part, but bug fixing (at least to a reasonable level) is often a bit like pulling teeth. Anyway, here it is:

Feel free to let us know what you like or don't like, either here or on our forums.
Hey everyone!

Some of us are at PAX East 2017, the rest is polishing the next update. Here's your weekly journal: http://compulsiongames.com/en/news/113/weekly-journal-teasing-the-teaser

Cheers,
The Compulsion team
This week, we've got stuck into working on content for the next + 1 update. The next update is in final QA/optimization, so we'll hopefully be able to announce a date very shortly.

Thanks for the constant blog posts and YouTube videos. Looks like this upcoming update will be something to look forward to. :)

Thanks, we think so :)

It'll be one where feedback is critically important, particularly in relation to performance and how the game is running on various systems. There will be a bunch of autodetection improvements so framerate for non-power players will be substantially improved.

We might post up some surveys etc once we figure out what the pain points are. Along with reading all the other feedback, of course.

Edit: heads up that we'll post these in separate threads from now on and sticky them, so you can easily see what's most recent.
