It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Guys, I think we found the problem and unfortunately (or fortunately, as I can fix it today myself and build a new patch) it is on our side. We'll get you a new patch as soon as it is done.

Crazywaco: Please tell me that I don't have to restart my game again or reinstall it.
Re-applying the new patch once it is uploaded should be enough.
The new patch should be now available for download.

masterotaku: Thank you :). Downloading. You can sleep relaxed now, I guess. I feel sorry for you, because this must have been a frustrating evening/night.
Thank you and don't worry - it's just another day at our Tech Team ;)
2.1.0.9? Not 2.1.0.10?
When did you download the patch?
avatar
Jonigigolo: In my case it says Update from version 2.0.0.8 to 2.1.0.10, but still crashes.
I downloaded it 30 minutes ago.
Crashes, or gives you similar error to Izual's?

There is little I can do, as I'm currently neither at work nor at home. :/

Jonigigolo: The same error as Izual.
OK, just to be clear:
- you downloaded WL2 installer 2.0.0.8
- you installed it (there was no previous install present or you uninstalled it beforehand)
- you downloaded and run WL2 patch 2.1.0.10 (run it just once)
- ...and got wrong file version errors

Is that correct?

Izual: If I had to guess, I'd say it's related to the way GoG patches games, or to GoG patcher itself. It doesn't seem to be related to W2, as users seldom report this error message... Have you ever heard of that message popping up for other games?
I'm using Win7, if that helps.
I know fairly well when it appears and what can cause it, I just need to be certain of user's actions beforehand.

Izual: Yes, but I'm not the only one with this bug - Jonygigolo has it too, and maybe others. I still believe a new patch version by GOG might solve this.
I'm more inclined to think it might be something wrong with the patcher itself and large files processing. If you could please open Support ticket describing the problem and including dxdiag, it might help us on Monday.

berillions: No patch for Linux ??
I need to download all game's data ?!?
Due to the fact that the last update has changed EVERY file in the game, there was no way for us to create a binary patch for Linux at this time :(

berillions: You are lucky that I prefer GoG than Steam^^...
Go, i re-download the game. I hope that there will be a binary patch for Linux for the next patch. :)
I hope so too for everyone's sake :)
