So I returned back from Damonta and been called to Prison to tighten some loose nuts in Danforth's head. Problem is, there is no way to talk to him for me - loudspeaker mast shows talking "cloud" icon, but there is no interaction. IIRC (been around years since I plated it), in Vanilla game there was interaction even if you haven't talked to him during first visit of this map, or you haven't visited that part of map. Attempts to enter lead to violence, even if initially RSM is peaceful. Tried to reload, and to revisit the map. No avail.
Point is, since I can't talk to Danforth, there is no way to sign treaty. Not that I really like RSM, but in vanilla alive Danforth gave better ending. Sort of. Is there a way to fix it on my end, or fixing errors of old rangers is the only available solution for me?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. To be honest, more than once I've seen stuff like that, where scripts weren't working or certain interactions didn't work. Remember that guy with flammable home in Highpool? No way to talk to him or interact with valve to extinguish his house. Yet he blaimed my team for not doing anything. Lolwut? Certain people or items became non-interacting out of blue (generally upon loading save), either forcing to ignore them or revisit the map. Good if they were near beginning, but if near end? D'oh. Don't remember vanilla's release being that strange.
