imacfarlane1: I paid for and installed he game. I was able to start it up and was asked to install direct play. I finished installing that too and then the game crashed and says "Warlords Battlecry III has stopped working".

Am I missing something basic? When I double click the short-cut my screen goes black and the cursor changes to the gloved hand cursor of the game for about 1 second before crashing and saying it is not working.

Any help would be appreciated

dave33777: hi i brought this game the other day, downloaded it, and tried to start game and it doesn't work! it just flickers to a black screen as if its about to load up then nothing happens. i have got windows 7, i know its an old game, iv tried to set compatibility and run as admin, but this still happens, theres nothing wrong with the screen res, it can go to 800x600 but still nothing, please HELP,
