What is the best and most accessible of the Warlords 4X games? This seemed the best forum to pose this question.

You should try both Warlords 3 Dark Lords Rising and Warlords 4 Heroes Of Etheria.

Having played both W3 DLR and W4, I have to say in terms of gameplay, the first option is the better one by a large amount. Warlords 4 is aesthetically more pleasing though, but that's about it.
