it does it in diablo this and warcraft 2 its like the mouse moves to fast and slides like really weird? it only does it in these games everything else it runs like it supposed to anyone know a fix for this or is it just due to them beeing really old games and my gaming mouse is 2 fast? for it or something?

I have mouse issues as well. But my mouse movement is inconsistent, like when tracking ball is dirty.

which mouse do you have ? Is it some high response gaming mouse ? Is there some switch to change the accuracy ? Maybe that influences things ?

I have that mouse as well. I don't have any special software for it installed, as it seems to work nicely without.
Given that we both have the mouse, maybe we can figure out what is going on.

Cowamundo: I can't use my mouse at all to sidescroll.
Just to be sure, one the cursor changes into an arrow at the edge of the screen, then you have to left click to actually scroll.

Given that we both have the mouse, maybe we can figure out what is going on.
So, I found out that the issue is full screen. I don't know why, but my mouse doesn't like Dosbox full screen. Try Alt Tabing out of full screen and you probably notice that mouse suddenly works fine.

So I went to edit dosbox_warcraft.conf file and changed "fullscreen=false" and "windowresolution=1920x1080" or whatever is your desktops resolution.

Still can't play full screen, but big window is doable.

Found another solution. Disable mouse acceleration in Logitech gaming software. If you don't have that then maybe from Windows mouse settings?

Hmm yeah, I don't have that installed, so that explains why it behaves fine at my place ?
