ilwar2: The easiest way is to extract the whole Gamesfx folder from war2dat.mpq archive.
And then to pack them back into your custom build.
If you need english hotkeys, you can set a checkbox during the installation process. Unfortunately that hotkey file contains also many english words, so the build will be halfly english. (Need help from some german-spoken player to rewrite that file: english hotkeys with german strings).
I really have no idea why you need the game with german voices, but with english texts.
Not sure that will make some sence for community...
Let me know if i'm wrong?
Already explained why. The sounds are great and in my "ears" simply better than the english ones. I dont have any problem reading or understanding english, its a matter of feeling and quality to play the game, not to understand it at all.
The sounds arent needed to understand the game anyway, so i dont see any reason to stick to english voices in terms of "translation" purposes. None of the character in the game has anything to say. Like at all. Thats solely a WC3 thing.
And why would i wait for an official language support if all i need is the voicepack of the units and maybe the narration for missions?
In short, i dont need german sounds to understand the game and sounds are of NO importance for a translation to be able to understand the game or its content. Its because the voices are absolutely great.
NemesisZidar: Wenn es die Sounds irgendwo im Netz als Audiodatein gäbe, wäre also wenigstens das schon leicht zu lösen.
