We haven't had this problem on our machines, so I think it might be either your GPU settings or a lot of stuff running in the background. I know that tends to slow things down :P

wyrenn: Moving ddraw.dll didn't fix the problem for me. Just made the cutscenes not play and the game crash as soon as I move the mouse during gameplay. Boo.
Don't move it, rename it temporarily.
