Skirmish mode still does not work for me.
And since version 2.00.

I reported it to the developer from the beginning.
This is still not corrected.

With all the DLC it starts to be expensive for a broken game.

Confirmation of the version number displayed on the main menu
Details regarding whether you are running the game from the Installer version or Galaxy version from GOG.

Doesn't work for me either. Very disappointed.
We've addressed an error that was present in the output log posted above and I should expect that will be fixed in the next patch.

However as we weren't able to replicate we cannot confirm for certain that this issue will be fixed. When we release the next patch we'll need an update.

It is possible that the issue is also caused by a faulty install so I would recommend trying a completely fresh install or the Galaxy version of the game.

Can you also confirm for me the version of the game you're running (Top-left of the main menu) and whether you're using the Galaxy Version or the Installer version.

Unfortunately I am unable to provide a timeline on when a fix might occur. We're not sure why this seems to only some GOG users and why it seems limited to a few particular menus. We're still working with our partners to try and work that out.

Out of curiosity did you ever give the game a shot on Galaxy? I realise you were using the offline versions but it's possible the issue itself is limited to only those version of the game and Galaxy is exempt as well. Worth giving a quick look into and would give us a little extra information.
