For years I have downloaded music from the Mod Archive and it is so weird starting a game and playing with music in the background that I recognize from 10+ years ago. How very strange :P I used to listen to this music while browsing the net at blazing 56Kbit speeds (so text mostly).

Actually I was so caught off guard from this I had to check and see if I happened to have other media players on since it sounds like music I'd listen to (or usually listen to).

Anyone else have this issue? :P
i am still listening to this music when i read a book or do something else where i can do that. i still have the audiofiles i once downloaded from gog.com, but unfortunately gog removed them from the extras section. you can find 4 of those soundfiles in the developers-cd-folder (or the other one), but there should be 6 or 7, not just 4.
