The problem with all guides on how to hack a bank requires a lot of money (for expensive tools). I figured a way to get a lot of money without using expensive tools.
You will require:
- Proxy Disable v5 (10,000c)
- Log Deleter v4 (4,000c).
- Password Breaker (1,500c)
When a Trace a Balance Transfer mission appears, accept it. Most likely the account has a lot of money.
Before starting the mission, exit game and make a backup of the save game (it's a folder called USER).
Now start the game again and use the Password Breaker for the account you'll be tracing. WRITE DOWN THE USER/PASSWORD and exit the game. Restore the save game (USER folder) and run the game again but this time you won't use the Password Breaker to enter the account. That way you won't be traced.
Now inside the account go to the statement logs and you'll see the amount of money was transferred including the IP address and account of the recipient. Write it down and disconnect.
Now go to the recipient's bank (go to InterNIC list and filter by BANK if you can't find the IP address easily). Connect to the bank, type the username and use the Password Breaker to enter the account. WRITE THE USER/PASSWORD. Go to account details to see the guy's name (and write it down).
Exit game and restore the save game again. Now you have both accounts information before hacking both banks!
Start the game again and reply the email with the recipient's name to get some extra money.
Now it's time to transfer the fortune from that account to yours. Write down YOUR Uplink bank account number and ip (of Uplink Bank).
Connect to the bank that has the fortune (you already wrote down the user/pass so you won't be traced yet).
Go to transfer and type your bank ip and account number (but don't hit enter yet). Open Proxy Disable and run it. Trace will start but you'll have plenty of time. When proxy is done, confirm the transfer and delete the log (transfer log). Disconnect.
Now you have a fortune in your account but passive trace started. Go to Uplink Internal Services and buy the HUD Analysis, Monitor Bypass and Proxy Bypass.
Go to your Uplink bank account and run the Monitor Bypass and Proxy Bypass so you can delete the transfer log to your account without start a trace. Disconnect.
Go to InterNIC and clear your logs.
