Back in 1999 UT Classic was my first online shooter. I only had a 56k modem and bad latency and now after purchasing it a second time I just wanted to ask, if there are others who'd like to rivive this great game occasionally as some kind of "GoG's Players UT Fun Evening Massacre" or such.

The reason for my request is simple: I've checked the servers and there are only strange mods and just a few real players. It would be great to find some others here for some rounds of CTF (I'd prefer InstaGib but classic weapons would be okay too).

I have no idea how many hours I was running through Coret's endless floors or defending on Facing Worlds but it would be great to bring this back, just for a few times.

Unfortunately, game-specific sub-fora get little traffic, and what they do get may simply not be interested. I would suggest you post in the general forum. There are a couple of relevant threads there: The GOG Gaming Group and the Matchmaking Thread. The former is a steam group but may have interested people, while the latter gets occasional traffic. Alternatively, you may create a new thread for the purpose, and/or link to this one. In any case, you will probably get better results if you have an organised plan in mind, host the game, etc.

Personally, I haven't played UT since way back when, was always more into the arena style and Q3, but good luck :-)
