I Just installed Unreal tournament and did all the updating putting in the latest render er patch. But when I start the game the character just spins in place. The keyboard functions but the mouse doesn't do anything but fire the gun. I checked that mouse look was on. Tried it with mouse smoothing and direct input is on and off. I've made sure that the joystick box is off. I don't know what else could be causing it to glitch. When I tried it with a Sidewinder joystick. I could move around fine but not look. Is there a way to look around with a joystick?

Try restarting your PC.

It was the display scaling. I had to disable it in the compatibility settings.
