That's the part where I started chucking flares like crazy. Cowering in that dark hallway while some monstrosity charged into the flickering red glow... simply awesome.

Then came Unreal 2. Since I'd played the first, I kind of knew what to expect when the elevator stopped and all the lights started going out over and below me. Still when that damn monstrosity came, I screamed.

Unreal... One thing really surprised me about it: It hasn't aged that much. Even with this oooold engine, quite a few almost breathtaking moments appeared during the game so far (almost breathtaking - No game ever really took my breath away by scenery or graphics). Game has a solid atmosphere and it's REALLY catchy, time flies by when playing you won't even notice it's a morning already (My case, right now :D ).
Enemies surprised me - they move around all the time and even dodge your bullets ... lasers ... Sharp .. Ice ... thingies ... Whatever :D Even the weak ones can give me a hard time sometimes, which doesn't happen very often in FPS games! Anyway, I really enjoy this game and recommend it to any FPS-tuned person :- ) It's totally worth it.
