i just got Unreal 2 SE and should I install the expanded multiplayer to the SAME game directory as the normal game? Thanks

Not sure. I have the disc version of the game. I never played multiplayer.

My guess is that you'd probably have to install it to the same directory. I would do that.

Backup your save games before you experiment.

If you are using the GOG galaxy, installer it now installs both single and multiplayer games at the same time without asking.

SDo you should not need to install the addon manually, sadly I have not tried installing any other edition, but if you hav eth gog version you can try using Galaxy to do the install and see if that helps.
