This game is still one of the more popular requests when I go to LAN parties. The combination of simple gameplay mechanics and a wide variety of maps, weapons, and vehicles means that each time we play, it is a new game. The AI is still a challenge after all these years and the sheer potential that this game has for modification means it can be as fresh as you want to make it.
Be sure to search around for all of the official map packs and patches as there was quite the development community surrounding this game when it was first released.
