I'm just looking into the game. I played for a while and now I go to sleep. But how do I save my progress?

When I try to leave the game, it asks me "if you exit all unsaved progress willl be lost, are you sure?"
I'm sure I want to save :-)

Earlier in the game, after I died from taking the coins, I could "load" and got to point where I still lived.
So there is some kind of saving. But how do I save?! I can't find it in the menu.


Less important but still very interesting would be a list of all mapped keys on the keyboard.

Thanks. It was just a few steps further than I got yesterday :-)

Anyway, the game saved my progress behind the scenes.
It's just a pity that I cannot see when it saves or how long ago it saved the last time.

Anyway, my main question is solved.

There's an item that does it, but it's not available in the GOG version.

More importantly, you should consider restarting on at least Hard OR make regular backups of the saves (the advantage of the GOG version is that the saves are stored on your PC), because autosaves might screw you over. I know I reloaded my (manual) save quite a number of times due to bad decisions made five minutes earlier. It's better to lose the progress of one day's play session than get disappointed and give up on the whole game because you permanently lost the chance to complete a quest in the current playthrough. (And I still made a couple of inadvisable panicky manual saves.)
