First impressions, about a half hour into the game:

I'm loving it. If I'm not careful, I can and WILL die. The graphics are pretty nice considering it's an indie title, but I've never been much of a graphics whore so that's no big thing.

I'm digging the treasure collection aspect. Also digging the pop culture references. It's almost like Evil Dead in an RPG dungeon format.

All in all I'd say so far this game promises to be something special, and for $4.99 it's an absolute steal, especially when the developer gives you a steam key if you register on the site, for you steamz0rz out there.

All in all this was the best $5 purchase I've made in a very long time.

I doubt the dev reads these forums, but I have to agree with you: totally awesome game.

The quality to price ratio for this game is absolutely insane.

No crazy graphics, extremely detailed Newtonian physics engines that most won't notice or riding on the name of a popular franchise. Just genuinely great gameplay.

We definitely need more games like this.

haven't seen him lately but he has popped up here and there on the boards when the game came out and even posted a "unbiased" review as well.

Loving the game so far, it's now shouldered aside 3 other titles I was playing and pushed it's way to the head of the line. Currently being eaten alive by leeches but that's my own fault ;) other than that things are going swimmingly and I highly recommend this game to any fans of the genre. My girlfriend sat down and watched me play a few boards of the sewer this evening, she's a die hard castlevania fan, and has decided she wants to try it out as well.
