Hello,

Just installed Ultima VII complete, everything went swimmingly but when I try to run the application nothing happens. No error screen or crash r freeze just no response at all.

Have tried updating direct X and my graphics drivers as well as trying different compatability modes and running as admin.

I'm running windows 8.

Any help would really be appreciated as Im chomping t the bit to get stuck into this game...

Thanks

Did you install it to the default location? If so, try uninstalling and installing it in "C:\Games" or something like that. Other than that, it sounds like you've done all the standard stuff.
Hi VisEIEchNon,

Thanks for the reply - I ended up downloading Exult and it runs perfectly through that....for now! ;-)

Cheers

Well, that actually would've been my next suggestion. Some people want the "authentic" experience though so, while I fully recommend Exult, I hesitate to recommend it right off the bat. :D

EDIT::
Glad you got it working either way. :)
