I have been relying on the interactive map on the internet, but I don't know how to access the in-game map. I bought some item in Trinsic called a "sextant", but all it does is tell me the coordinates I'm in, instead of showing a world map. Is there any way to get or to access the world map to know my location?

There is a map item, which you start with. You double click to look at Britannia. It does not however show you where you are.

I believe if you own a sextant, it will put a crosshair where you are currently located.

Huh, looks like it does. Yes, open the world map while you also have a sextant, and it will in fact add a crosshair.

I found that pressing F3 brings up the map with the crosshair, but thank you all for your tips! It seems that I lost the Britannia map, but pressing F3 makes up for this, as in Exult you get that luxury thankfully. Also, the sextant will prove useful in giving me coordinates, so I'll just get one of those, thank you!

In Exult the F3 map is the cheat map that is scaled down version of the "real" world map, contrary to how the "drawn" map looks (hotkey m).
The drawn map will show the cross hair if you have a sextant AND you are in the open (can't use a sextant in a dungeon or a building :))

Unfortunately, "m" didn't work for me, as for some odd reason I don't have the map, and don't know how to get it, but F3 along with the interactive map works for me.

You should start out with a map in The Black Gate. You'll have to have it in the Avatar's inventory for 'm' to work, not in someone else's.

In The Serpent Isle you'll get a map later, you don't start out with one.

I'm actually playing The Black Gate, but some glitch must've happened, but F3 is still perfectly for me in conjunction with the online interactive map.
